This month's updates focus on precision and speed across your daily workflows — from more accurate scheduling views, to faster quoting, to reliable form numbering that back office teams can count on for auditing and payroll.
Form numbering for all form types
What's New
- ✅ Every submitted form now receives a unique, type-specific sequence number — not just timecards, quotes, and invoices.
- ✅ Each form type gets its own prefix (e.g., INSP for inspections, SAFE for safety forms, INC for incident reports), so you can identify the form type at a glance.
- ✅ Numbers are guaranteed unique per day and form type, with no duplicates or gaps — even under heavy submission volume.
- ✅ New form types are automatically included in the numbering system without any manual setup.
How This Helps
Until now, only timecards, quotes, and invoices got their own numbers. If you needed a reference number on an inspection or safety form, the only workaround was to set it up as a "timecard" — which made things confusing when you actually needed to find it later.
Now every form gets its own number automatically. When payroll has a question about a specific daily log or the safety team needs to pull up an incident report, there's one clear number to reference — no more digging through submissions by date and crew member to track it down.
Smarter schedule calendar
What's New
- ✅ Monthly and weekly calendar views now show jobs only on the specific days that have tasks scheduled — not across the entire job date range.
- ✅ A job that runs Monday through Friday but only has tasks on Monday and Wednesday now appears on just those two days, giving you an accurate picture of when work is actually happening.
How This Helps
The calendar previously showed jobs as continuous bars spanning their full start-to-end range — even on days with no work planned. This cluttered the view and made it impossible to tell which days actually had scheduled work. Now the calendar reflects reality: you see work where work is planned, making it easier to spot open days and avoid scheduling conflicts.
Availability timeline improvements
What's New
- ✅ The availability timeline now shows more of the day at once — at least 12–15 hours are visible on a standard laptop screen without scrolling.
- ✅ The view now defaults to center on midday instead of starting at midnight, so you land on the working hours that matter.
- ✅ Job ribbons display text that stays visible as you scroll, so you can always see which job is which.
How This Helps
The previous timeline started at midnight and showed only 7–12 hours at a time, forcing dispatchers to scroll right every single time they opened the page just to reach the active work day. The updated layout fits more hours on screen and opens right where the action is — reducing the repetitive scrolling that slowed down daily planning.
Drag and Drop Quoting
What's New
- ✅ You can now drag and drop line items on quotes to reorder them instantly — grab a row and move it exactly where you want it.
- ✅ Visual feedback shows where the item will land as you drag.
- ✅ The up/down arrow controls are still available as a fallback for fine-tuning.
How This Helps
Reordering line items on larger quotes used to mean clicking the up or down arrow repeatedly — one position at a time. For quotes with many items, this was tedious and time-consuming. Drag and drop lets you reorganize a quote in seconds instead of minutes.
Location picker
What's New
- ✅ When selecting a jobsite location on a quote or job, the map now automatically zooms to the selected point at a useful street-level view.
How This Helps
Before, the map would stay zoomed way out after you picked a location — you had to pinch and scroll just to make sure the pin landed in the right place. Now it snaps right to your selection so you can confirm the jobsite and move on.
